Understanding the world around us.

I am going to say this simply, without explanations or elaborations. This is the situation in 2011 as I see it.

Once upon a time there were many competing empires. Their primary concerns were survival and material conquest. As a result, the rules of engagement needed to be simple and indisputable. The empires were at war with one another, so it was critically important that there were uncontested leaders and loyal subjects. The people surrendered their rights for the greater good because their survival depended upon it. Victory was essential because the alternative was death. Because of this situation the rules of engagement were simple. Several have become clichés’. For example; “All is fair in love and war”, “To the victor belong the spoils”, “Survival of the fittest” and “Might makes right”. These became the established moral code for every empire.  Let me call this our Materialistic Social Dogma.

In the process the people became peasants with no rights. This was tolerated at first somewhat willingly for the benefit of the group. When tensions between empires abated then the people had time to think about freedom, prosperity and spiritual matters. This was a threat to the leaders and to the materialistic social dogma. The leaders proclaimed that “an idle mind is the devils workshop” and looked for ways to keep their subjects so busy that they did not have time for higher thinking. So they engaged in wars of conquest and created jobs to keep people too busy to think. They found that personal debt was an excellent way to turn the subjects into slaves so they let them borrow to purchase luxury items.

The materialistic social dogma was still in a precarious situation because it had a serious flaw. Since it had to reject moral values like truth and justice in order for empire to get subjects to follow into wars of aggression; spiritual values were not possible. This left the subjects frustrated and confused. The solution was multi-pronged. Media and education had to be controlled in order to teach that the empire was justified in it’s actions. The other problem was that any spiritual unrest had to be quelled. In the west, this has been solved by creating state religions. First in 325 AD, the Emperor of Rome called the Christian bishops together into a great council where he dictated a spiritual dogma and established The Church of Rome. In this new church with a new bible there was established “The Divine Right of Kings”, whereby disobedience to the King was the same as disobedience to God Himself. Problem solved, now good Christians could rape, kill and pillage their neighbors and justify it as a “Holy War”.

All record of the past had to be destroyed in order for this new church to appear authentic and original. The libraries of Alexandria were methodically destroyed in many, many fires over a 250 year period. The dumbing down process was begun and Europe went into a Dark Age. When the people began to recover there was a Renaissance and spiritual ideas and the desire for freedom arose within the populace once again. When the merchants moved their headquarters from Venice to London, the Roman Empire began to crumble and the British Empire was born. Part of the transition was to transfer loyalty of the European people to England but the Church of Rome was still very influential. The transition could not be completed without creating a Church of England to replace the Church of Rome. These churches dictated what people could think and what was not acceptable to think. If you had an unacceptable thought then you were persecuted as a heretic. When the New World was discovered, people began to flee the religious persecution and go to the Americas.

Colonies began to flourish in the New World. The leaders of Europe were quick to exploit the situation and finally a small group in America began to revolt. This eventually led to America becoming independent from the British Empire and forming a constitutional republic called the United States of America. This new country was different than any that had come before. It was based on the idea that people had rights. It was the moment when we the people reclaimed our spiritual nature. We broke from the materialistic social dogma and replaced the idea that might makes right with the idea that we must interact with truth and justice in order to protect human rights like life, liberty and property. I will call this model of truth, justice and human rights the Holistic Social Dogma.

The new American government is the prototype for holistic government but it was also a thorn in the side of the British Empire. In fact, these two forms of government are so different from one another that they are mutually exclusive and it is only possible for one of them to survive. Either there will be an empire where all people are subservient peasants in a global government or there will be a system of sovereign nation states where human rights are respected and protected. It is not possible to have freedom or any rights in an empire.  One of these two systems will eventually eliminate the other from the face of the earth.

It would seem that since most people claim to favor human rights that it would be an easy victory however empire always has the upper hand because they play by a different set of rules (simply called cheating). Put in their own words, “All is fair in love and war”. Deception and secrecy become the norm. War, debt, poverty and chaos become prevalent but people do not reject the oppression because they have been bought off with false promises. These promises come in the form of Ponzi Schemes where an unbelievably generous promise can be kept for a short time but eventually there are no resources to continue the fraud. Since the people have allowed themselves to become slaves, they are in no position to give any real resistance. If they try then the government is forced to crack down and institute martial law. People suddenly find themselves in a police state.

How did this happen. The short answer is that empire controls the people through a process of divide and conquer. Every tiny issue which could be controversial is intentionally blown out of proportion. Politically we are divided along party lines. The U.S. Constitution cannot function if there is a party system like we have. The constitution was designed to decentralize power and create many checks and balances so that America could be as close as possible to a government of, by and for the people. What we have now is a two party system which micromanages every local election at a national level. This anti-American process is designed to mare the constitution irrelevant. For someone to be in one of these parties should be grounds to lose ones citizenship and holding office as a party member is tantamount to treason.

We are divided in many other ways too. It is a ruling class which orchestrates this division and in the process hides themselves above the fray. If we get frustrated and look for a scape goat then we will usually fight amongst ourselves and we are oblivious to the real problem. Oppression by the elite 0.01% affects us all whether we are liberal or conservative. Conservatives objected and were labeled the Tea Party. This is not a republican party issue but money from wealthy republicans make it look republican. Now the Occupy Wall Street events are a result of frustration felt by many liberals. It is the same problem but money interests from the democratic party are financing the OWS  events and co-opting the energy making it look like a democrat issue. OWS and the Tea Party are both groups of people with problems caused by the two party system. If they could see this then they would join together and form a third party which not only condemns wall street and the central banking fraud but also condemns both the Democrats and the Republicans as the treasonous, Anti-American criminals that they are.

The revival of America is the only hope that the future will be a time when the people of the world can enjoy human rights. We must see that our attachment to the Ponzi Schemes which look so good and promise us treasures galore are simply illusions. We must reject the two major parties and withdraw our support for them because they are trying to destroy everything America once stood for.

Bottom line; unless we reject the entire materialistic social dogma and adopt the values of truth and justice, those of us who survive will become slaves in a global empire. The people on each side are motivated and this is the big opportunity for America to reclaim it’s greatness. We cannot escape the oppression of Wall Street and the central banking scam without rejecting the Democrats and the Republicans. Our great potential opportunity today would be if the people from Occupy Wall Street and those from The Tea Party were to understand that they can only prevail if they work together. After all, the issues that divide them have been fabricated and are bogus.

The Rise and Fall of America:

Who was it that said, “We will sell them the rope they use to hang themselves”. The American people are so confused about what is going on around them that we are self destructing. The term self destructing, implies that since we are causing our own demise, that we could stop and revise our strategy. It would  take a skilled leader to get people to see the truth and motivate the people to make the required changes. I have had insights along the way but when it comes to explaining it clearly, it becomes complicated. It would be nice if a simple phrase like “Look, The Emperor has No Soul” would accomplish the goal but it is not enough. As the explanation gets longer then people begin to loose interest. We have short attention spans. This may take some time but I believe that I can pull it off. So, please be patient and read on, and on.

Hello world!

This is my first post.

I have another website: www.BecomingWholeAgain.com where you can get an introduction to my project. A brief summary would be that our society has chosen competition over cooperation as our means to resolve most problems. This choice had many consequences including the tendency to divide and conquer which has resulted in a fragmented view of the world around us. I am a physician who took an interest in alternative approaches to health and healing in the 1990′s. This gave me exposure to the holistic approaches of several Asian countries.

I have studied the holistic approach and find that it not only applies to health care but to almost every aspect of western society. Understanding this issue is the key to having a society where peace, prosperity and joy are common place. Please check out the above link to my other website.
